Payment Terms
VMCcerts generally operates on a post-delivery billing model.
Payment becomes due only after the applicable product, certificate, service or agreed project scope has been successfully delivered.
Where delivery cannot be completed due to Certificate Authority rejection, validation failure, technical limitations, eligibility requirements, trademark requirements or other factors beyond the customer’s control, no payment obligation shall arise for the affected engagement.
In certain circumstances, including enterprise engagements, agency partnerships, renewal orders, bulk purchases, custom projects or other specialized arrangements, alternative payment terms may apply. Where applicable, such terms will be communicated in writing before work commences.
Any payment terms stated in a quotation, proposal, order confirmation, statement of work, invoice or written agreement shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency with these Terms & Conditions.
-
Refund Policy
Because VMCcerts generally invoices customers only after successful delivery of the applicable product, certificate, service or agreed project scope, refund requests are uncommon.
Where delivery cannot be completed due to Certificate Authority rejection, validation failure, trademark eligibility issues, technical limitations or other factors beyond the customer’s control, no payment obligation shall arise for the affected engagement.
Once delivery has been completed and payment has been received, refunds are generally not available except in cases involving:
- Duplicate transactions
- Billing errors
- Processing errors
- Incorrect charges
Approved refunds remain at the sole discretion of VMCcerts.
Where a refund is approved for an issued certificate, VMCcerts and/or the applicable Certificate Authority reserve the right to revoke the certificate immediately.
